The Vineage Series: Snow Vines

This Winter after a heavy snow storm the vines were covered in white for a brief time. The images had to be captured quickly as the snow melted rapidly on the porous structure of tangled vines. The morning after a storm there were only a few hours when “Snow Vines” were visible. I went “hunting” for these ethereal images and sketched and took photos that were then worked into paintings in my studio.
